Intel has officially announced the availability of the new Intel Atom-based platform, codenamed “Moorestown”, designed for use in in tablets, smartphones and other handheld devices. The platform includes the Intel Atom Z600 Series processors, the the MP20 Platform Controller Hub (PCH), and a dedicated Mixed Signal IC (MSIC).
